Festival - Out & About

At the end of August
I set-up a booth at our town festival.
It turned out to be a (very!)
wet & miserable day weather wise,
so that was quite disappointing.

I was very thankful for a tent over my head

and for my sister who shared her sweater with me.

And VERY
under-dressed
for the weather,
I may add!

(this Momma had festival on the brain and forget to send warmer clothes along with them to Grandma's. But....I really thought it would be a warm & sunny day!)







The rain didn't stop
these 2 from having fun!
Oh to be a kid again,
they reminded me that day
to find joy in every circumstance.
Even the rain.

The Muddy River Marketplace

I'm really excited about our towns

Summer Festival coming up next weekend!!
You may remember,
last year was the Cotton Cupcake shoppe's
VERY FIRST public appearance!
I am excited to once again
join a whole bunch of other fabulous artisans
at the MUDDY RIVER MARKETPLACE!!

Oh - one more thing! My oldest daughter (on left!) is SO excited to help me with my booth AND she's going to be set-up a little table and sell the gourds we've been growing in our garden :) How sweet is that?!!

1st Public Appearance!

This past weekend I had the opportunity to set up a booth at our town festival. It was a beautiful sunny day and the "Muddy River Marketplace" was a huge success!! It was the Cotton Cupcake shoppe's first public appearence and I had a lot of fun showing off my creations and chatting with many people who had no idea I did this :)

Many people who stopped by my booth

entered the "Free Draw" for a $20 gift certificate!

Here is my littlest cupcake wearing her own personalized owl dress! My medium sized cupcake wore a beautiful turquoise shirt with an embroidered owl and my biggest cupcake sported a cupcake applique shirt. All created by Mommy with love! My 3 daughters did a really good job of displaying my work :)

All in all, it was a great experience!

I will definitely be involved in our town festival next year...

what a fun atmosphere!!
